Carthage - Anna V. Farr, 90, of 34456 State Rt. # 26, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Anna was born in Carthage on February 17, 1925, the daughter of the late Abraham and Mary E. Bigness Disotell. She attended Carthage schools. She was married to Charles F. Farr who died in 1961. Anna was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son: Francis Farr of Lowville, her longtime companion, Richard Clement of Carthage, 5 Grandchildren, Charles, Scott and Tracey Farr, Tricia Schultz and Tammy Michaels; 6 Great Grandchildren, Pamela and Kimberly Farr, Tony Moran and Jodie, Beth and Caleb Durant and 3 Great Great Grandchildren, Wyatt and McKenzie Newton and Elizabeth Sorrell. Her son, Everett C. Farr, died in 1988.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. James Cemetery in Carthage. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage.
