Obituary
Carthage - Barbara A. Vollmar, 71, of 38781 NYS Rt. # 3, died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Hospice of Jefferson County, the Ellis Farm Watertown.
Barbara was born in Carthage on December 11, 1941, the daughter of the late Fred and Lillian Gray Noyes. She attended school in Carthage. She married Raymond D. Vollmar Sr. on March 15, 1960 in Carthage. She worked at Gould MFG in Watertown for several years.
She is survived by her three daughters: Diana Sanderson of Carthage, Debra Vollmar of Minden, LA and Rose Hurst of Watertown, a son Raymond Jr. of Carthage, 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren, two sisters: Darlene Rogers of Carthage and Susanne Malone of Bernice, LA, two brothers: Charles and David Noyes both of Carthage and several nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Robert, James and Fred Noyes Jr., and a sister, Mary Kavanaugh died previous.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 PM at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Barone, Pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Carthage. Calling hours at the funeral home will precede the service on Monday from 12-2pm.
