Beatrice M. Myers, 92, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Meadowbrook Terrace of Carthage where she has resided for 3 years.
Beatrice was born September 14, 1924 in Belfort, one of nine children of the late John J. and Eva (Sovay) Yousey. She attended schools in Belfort and Beaver Falls. She married Walter Schmidt on November 27, 1943. The couple later divorced. She then married Merle R. Myers on December 29, 1972 in Calcium. Mr. Myers died on June 30, 2008. Beatrice was employed by Acme Markets in West Carthage for over 20 years until the store closed in 1979. She then worked at Mike's Store in West Carthage.
She is survived by two daughters: Robin Redmond of Carthage and Penny Messerich of Lexington,VA, 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, Carl John Schmidt who died on December 28, 1991.
Per her wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Burial will be in Swinburne Cemetery, Deer River at the family's convenience. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home.
