Obituary

Bruce W Ashcraft Jr., 47, of Pensacola, Florida passed away suddenly in his home on Friday October 27 th, 2017.

Bruce was born in Carthage NY June 15 th, 1970 to Tamara (Dening) Miller (Carthage) & Bruce Ashcraft Sr (Black River). Bruce graduated from Carthage Central High School in 1988. He was very proud of his time serving in the US Air Force from 1991-1997 including time in the Presidential Honor Guard at Arlington National Cemetery and at the White House.

He enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially loved the time spent with his Husband Mark, and their two dogs (Tori & Avery). He had a passion for music and singing at his church, Holy Cross Metropolitan Community Church in Pensacola.

He is survived by his husband Mark Everett, mother, Tamara Miller, father Bruce Ashcraft Sr (Carol Moseley); brother Ronald (Anne) Ashcraft of Scotia; sister Katherine (Gregory) Hayden of Fulton; sister Denise (Rodney) Olaen of Lacey WA; sister Kellie Petrie (Justin Lavancha) of Adams;  sister Jamie (Robbie) Meyers of Adams;  brother Andy (Danielle Ladd) Ashcraft of Adams; brother Michael Ashcraft of Adams; sister in laws Pam Everett, Peggy (Neil) Todd, Paula (Jim) Adams, and brother in law Scott Everett.  Bruce is also survived by many step sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bruce is preceded in death by his step father Lyle Miller; maternal grandparents Milton & Marta (Makuch) Dening, paternal grandparents George & Dora (Mono) Ashcraft, his father and mother in law Frank B Everett Jr and Margery (James) Everett and his great niece Madden Katherine Hayden Ladd.

Funeral services will be held at the Bezanilla McGraw Funeral Home on Monday, November 6 th at 1:00pm with Rev. Donald A. Robinson officiating. Calling hours will precede the services from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Monday.

In lieu of flowers any donations can be made to the Religious Education Program for People with Disabilities whose address is ATTENTION: Watertown Catechetical Board, 1 Sterling Place, Watertown NY 13601 or St. James Catholic Church, 327 West St., Carthage, NY 13619.
