Bruce Francis Hutt, 73, of Naumburg Lane, Naumburg, died Wednesday morning, September 29, 2021 at his residence after being stricken.

Bruce was born on April 9,1948 in Watertown, the son of the late Francis and Leona (Curran) Hutt. He was a 1966 graduate of Carthage Central High School and later attended college. He moved to The Rochester area and worked for Kodak for 10 years. He returned to Carthage and for 22 years was a beater engineer for Champion International in Deferiet.

Bruce was very sports minded and played basketball and softball for many area teams.

He was a member of the Elks Lodge # 1762 of Carthage, VFW Post # 7227 of Carthage, and the Marine Corp League of Lowville.

He is survived by one daughter: Courtney C. Thomas of Grand Rapids, MI and two sons: Andrew H. Hutt of Charleston, SC and Wayne Hutt of Tustin, CA, 5 Grandchildren, one sister: Janet Gadbaw of Rochester and one brother: Owen Hutt of Rochester. He is predeceased by his two brothers, Thomas and Wendell Hutt.
