Calvin Clyde Kneeland, 70, of Cato, NY and formerly of Carthage, died Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in the emergency room at the Auburn Community Hospital in Auburn after being stricken at his residence.

Calvin was born on October 23, 1953 in Monticello, ME, the son of the late Malcolm H. and Lucinda (Noyes) Kneeland Sr. His family lived in the Champion area and he was a graduate of Carthage Central High School. He worked for Crucible Industries in Solvay for 33 ½ years before his retirement. He is predeceased by his wife, the former Iris Britton. He has lived in the Cato area for many years.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Ivy Tanner of Cato, and two brothers: Malcolm H. Kneeland Jr. of Carthage and David Kneeland. He is predeceased by his sister, Tina Patchen.
