Catherine Mary Sinicropi, 81, formerly of Carthage, died Monday evening, November 20, 2017 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Pottstown, PA.

Catherine was born on October 28, 1936 in West Carthage, the daughter of the late Joseph F. and F. Doris (Johnson) Sinicropi. She was a 1954 graduate of West Carthage High School. She attended Rochester General School of Nursing and became a registered nurse. She worked at Rochester General from 1957-1962. She married Dudley E. Danielson and they moved to Maualani, Oahu and she worked from 1962-64. The couple returned to Carthage in 1967 and she was employed at the Carthage Area Hospital from 1967-1987 and then Hallmark Nursing Center for 9 years, retiring in 1999.

Catherine was a member of St. James Church, a Eucharistic Minister and former member of the Pastoral Counsel, Ave Maria Circle, Red Hats Society and served on the Wilna-Champion Transportation Board.

She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Thomas (Kirsten) LeVier of Severn, MD, Mrs. Scott (Dori-Ann) Miles of Limerick, PA and Melissa Lynn and her companion Rich Lajoie of Black River, 9 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandsons, two sisters: Mrs. Frank (Paula) Avallone of Pickerington, OH and Kristina Sinicropi of Harrisville, several nieces and nephews and predeceased by a brother Frederick "Freddie" Sinicropi.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, November 27 at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Donald A. Robinson, Pastor officiating.  Burial will be in St. James Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Sunday, November 26 from 1-3pm at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home.
