Carthage - Dale E. Ormiston, 48, of 10799 Limburg Forks Road, died Monday morning, July 1, 2013, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse after suffering a heart attack on Sunday, here in Carthage.

Dale was born in Carthage on February 9, 1965, the son of Roger E. and the late Helen A. Cronk Ormiston. He was a 1983 graduate of Carthage Central School and a 1987 graduate of SUNY Cortland. He taught in Copenhagen for a short time. For the past 16 years he has worked as a service representative for Hill-Rom Industries in Columbus Ohio. He returned to Carthage two years ago. He loved hunting, golfing and traveling.

He is survived by his father, Roger E. Ormiston of Carthage, two sisters and a brother-in-law: Shari McBride of Adams Center and Mrs. Gary (Brenda) Bivens of Richmond, VA, one brother and his wife: Bruce and Sharon Ormiston of Palatka, FL and three nieces.

Family and friends may call at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home on Friday, July 5th from 12-2pm. Burial will be in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery, Carthage.
