Donald M. "Mike" "Skeeter" Sheltray, 61, of Natural Bridge, was stricken and passed away at his residence on Thursday morning, January 30, 2025, in Natural Bridge.

Donald was born on December 5, 1963, in Canastota, the son of the late Donald A. and Ethel Marie (Walters) Sheltray. He attended Carthage Central High School.  He married the former Susan Windover Noftsier on August 22, 1998, at Turning Point Park in Carthage. Susan, a former employee of Carthage Area Hospital, passed away on September 26, 2013. He worked at the former Patterson Farms in Watertown before becoming a custodian for the Carthage Central School District where he retired due to a disability in 2013 after several years of service.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Whitetail deer hunting and anything outdoors was his passion. He loved having a "Good" party.

He is survived by a daughter and her husband: Brittany Ann and Charles Donner of Richmond, VA, a granddaughter, Brayleigh Genberg, his sister: Cheryl Gooden of Carthage, his companion, Lori Durham, his little dog "Chatchi" and several cousins and close friends.
