Obituary
Hi,
It's Elaine L. Rush, Grandma Elaine, saying my last goodbye. I know my husband Karl, my daughter Leah and grandson Justin, my mother A. Jane Harrison, sister Alice, and brother Paul are mourning my passing with the rest of my family, friends, and extended family. Be at peace!. I suffer no more from brain cancer.
The angels are celebrating as I arrive home to be with my Heavenly Father. I'll be with my son, Justin, after twelve years. I was so blessed to have such a large, loving extended family around the world, especially those from Carthage, New York.
Finally, don't prolong your mourning. Like King David did at the death of his son; mourn a little, clean yourself up, eat something, and go about life rejoicing in the "day the Lord has made". I hope to see you someday in heaven!

Born: April 26, 1951. Died: April 27, 2013. Survived by; husband of 30 years, Karl R. Rush, daughter Leah R. Rush, grandson, Justin K. Rush, mother A. Jane Harrison, brother Paul and sister-in-law Ellen Harrison, sister Alice and brother in-law Robert O'Shura, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and the family of God. Pre-deceased by son Justin K. Rush and father Richard T. Harrison.
Elaine graduated from Bloomsbury Elementary School, Phillipsburg High School in 1969 and from Career Academy as a Dental Assistant in 1970.
Arrangements; Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209 Brodheadsville, will have calling hours on Tuesday, April 30 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM followed by a service at 7:00 PM. Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home at 518 State Street, Carthage, NY will have calling hours at the New Covenant Fellowship Church, West Street Road, Carthage, NY on Thursday, May 2 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 3 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Services will start at 11:00 AM on Friday. May 3, 2013 from the church. Interment will be at Swinburne Cemetery, Deer River, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2158 N. Main Ave., Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
