CARTHAGE – Gary E. Rogers, 68, passed peacefully on Thursday morning, February 15, 2024.

Gary was born in Watertown on April 17, 1955 the son of the late Esther Goodreault and attended Carthage High School. In 1974 he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged. He then went on to become a chef, where he served food for the cast of The Beverly Hillbillies, he continued his love of cooking in the Florida Keys.

He is survived by his daughter, Misty M. Rogers; his sons, Victor Monaghan and the late Gary D. Monaghan, Jr., several grandchildren, his brothers, Glen, Alton, John and his sisters, Pat and Alberta, nieces and nephews.

Gary enjoyed nature walking and spending time with his children.

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Friday, February 23rd from 4 to 6pm at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home.
