Gordon D. DeLosh, 74, of 36687 State Rt. # 3, Carthage, died Sunday morning, November 4, 2018 at Lewis County General Hospital in Lowville, surrounded by his family.

Gordon was born on February 12, 1944 in Watertown, the son of the late Harry and Irene (Britton) DeLosh. He was a 1962 graduate of Carthage Central High School. He married Deanna M. Dalton on June 19, 1965 at St. James Church in Carthage. For many years he was employed at James River Corp in Carthage as a vibration analyst and retired in 1996.

Gordon was a member of the BPOE Lodge # 1762 in Carthage and was a lifetime outdoorsman.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Deanna M. DeLosh of Carthage, one daughter: Nicole DeLosh (Marc Fargo) of Martinsburg, one son: Jeffrey (Renee') DeLosh of Richland, 3 grandchildren; Morgan (Tyler) Kennedy, Jacob and Miah DeLosh, two step-grandchildren, Reis and T.J. Harding, 2 great grandchildren; Toren and Roxy Kennedy, a brother: Harry (Duke) and Amanda DeLosh Jr. of Canaseraga, NY and nieces and nephews.

All services will be held privately by the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Bezanillla-McGraw Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to one's favorite charity.
