Gwendolyn Lorene Washburn

1934 -2025

Gwendolyn Lorene (Bridge) Washburn, who peacefully departed at the age of 91. She was the beloved daughter of the late Lyle and Corlean (Corey) Bridge, and a lifelong resident of Carthage, NY.

Gwendolyn was preceded in death by her former husband, Kenneth Washburn. She is survived by her loving children: Mr. and Mrs. Michael Washburn of Carthage, Barbara Washburn of North Carolina, Mr. and Mrs. John Washburn of Carthage, Mr. Timothy Washburn of California, Mrs. Thomas (Colleen) Rivers of Carthage, Mr. and Mrs. Steven Lyndaker of Carthage, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Washburn of Utica, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Washburn of North Carolina, and Mr. and Mrs. Michael (Peggy) Poole of North Carolina. She also leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, who will cherish her memory.

Gwendolyn found joy in dog breeding and pursued hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, quilting, and gardening.

A private graveside service will be held at the St. James Catholic Cemetery in Carthage, NY.
