Helen A. Sech, 86, of 34000 Lamb Road, Champion, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.

Helen was born December 31, 1931 in the Village of Tylerville, daughter of the late Gerald & Ruth (Paris) Gregg.  She was a graduate of Copenhagen Central School and worked a short time for Agricultural Insurance Company in Watertown.

She married the love of her life, Francis H. Sech, on January 20, 1951 at the Community Baptist Church in South Rutland, NY. They were married for 68 years. They dedicated their life to farming and raising their family in the Hamlet of Champion. She was the Secretary/Treasurer of Hillside Cemetery in Champion for many years.

Together they raised two sons of whom she was extremely proud of.  They include John (Cathy) Sech and Stanley (Cindy) Sech both of Champion. She especially enjoyed seeing her grandchildren:  Brian, Wayne (Shannon), Amber, William (Chloe), Jennifer and Matthew (Mariah). Her great grandchildren: Julia, Jack, Emma, Jude, Sami, Stella, Ford, Sofia and Harper. She is predeceased by her parents, Gerald & Ruth Gregg and a sister and brother in law Geraldine & Gilbert O'Dell.
