Henry E. Bailey, 50, of 28 Wilna Ave. Deferiet, died Monday, December 28, 2020 at his home after being stricken.

Henry was born on September 5, 1970 in Meadville, PA, the son of the late Charles C. and Carrie L. (Geer) Bailey. He was a resident of the Children's Home in Watertown for several years. He started part time work at the Carthage Central High School and because of his excellent work history, it led to a fulltime position in the maintenance staff at the school. He had a close relationship with a co-worker, Garry Schwartz and this eventually began a relationship with the entire Schwartz family, especially Garry's parents, Bill and Joy. Henry got established in the community and was able to purchase a house in Deferiet and was quite proud to be a homeowner.

Henry enjoyed spending time with friends and those he considered family.

Being a foster child, he has no known surviving relatives.
