Jack B. Derouin, 68, of the East Road, Lowville, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025 at his home.

Jack was born December 29,1956 in Watertown, the son of the late Robert and Jeanne (Cook) Derouin. He was a 1975 graduate of Carthage Central School. Jack worked at the former Acme Markets, James River Corp, Lyons Falls Co-Gen Plant and was a finish carpenter for the Eagle Ridge Development in Calcium.  He married Lou Ann Tooker on March 9, 2005 in Watertown and she passed away on November 18, 2017.

Jack loved fishing, hunting, turkey hunting, kayaking and especially spending time at his hunting camp in Belfort.

He is survived by a daughter and her husband, Christy and Darrin Cole of Harrisville and two sisters, Jo Anne Derouin and her companion, Victor Tripp of Castorland and Cathy (Robert) Beggs of San Jose, CA. A brother, Thomas A. Derouin passed away on October 10, 2018.

A memorial service will be held at 1:45 pm on Thursday, January 16 at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home in Carthage with Wayne Arnold officiating. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 16 from 12:00pm- 1:45pm at the funeral home. There will be a Celebration of Life immediately following the memorial service at the American Legion Post #789 of Carthage where all are invited.
