James P. Worley, 74, of 21376 Wrape Road, Carthage, died Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.
James was born April 5, 1943 in Norfolk, the son of the late Earl and Marion (Ferris) Worley. He served with the U.S. Army from 1961-1964. He married Judy A. Beaudoin on August 7, 1965 in Massena. He was employed by the Carthage Central School District as a mechanic at the bus garage for over 24 years.
He was a life member of the American Legion and VFW Posts of Carthage and Watertown.
He is survived by his wife: Judy A. Worley of Carthage, three daughters: Kim M. Ferguson and her fiancé, Albert C. Stevens of Carthage, Tammy L. and Robert Bebelheimer of Carthage and LeAnn L and Brandon Locklear of Croghan, a son: Michael E. Worley of Watertown, 6 Grandchildren and a sister: Patricia Thompson of Croghan.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, December 9 at First Church of the Nazarene in Carthage with Rev. Nancy Smith officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage. Memorial donations may be forwarded to the family to help defray expenses.
