West Carthage - Joyce M. Blinebry, 68, of 8 Madison St., died Saturday evening, October 24, 2015, at her residence where she was under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

Joyce was born in Gouverneur on March 2, 1947, the daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy Sampson Fuller. She was a 1965 graduate of Augustinian Academy in Carthage. She married Ronald J. Blinebry on November 20, 1965 at St. James Church in Carthage. They would have celebrated 50 years of marriage this November.


Joyce worked for AAFES on Fort Drum as a food manager for many years and later for Super Duper in Carthage. Most recently her years have been filled with raising her children and grandchildren whom she adored.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald J. Blinebry of West Carthage, two daughters: Mrs. Jeffrey (Kimberly) Scott of Carthage and Vickie Blinebry Casey of Felts Mills, her 4 granddaughters, Amanda Blinebry of St. Louis, MO, Samantha Casey of Felts Mills and Chelsea and Rachael Scott, both of Carthage and several Aunts, cousins and nieces. Her stepfather, James J. Ferris died in 2007 and her brother, Joseph J. Ferris died on June 21, 2012.


Honoring Joyce's wishes there will be no calling hours. All services will be held privately by her family. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage.
