Obituary
West Carthage - Kathleen M. Bartlett, 96, of 38 N. Broad St. Apt. 203, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, February 10, 2015 in her residence.
Mrs. Bartlett was born in Malone on April 10, 1918, the daughter of the late Edward and Hattie Blair. She attended schools in Malone. She worked at the True Stitch Moccasin Factory in Malone. She married Earl E. Bartlett on April 5, 1946 in Concord, NH. The couple resided in the Star Lake area for many years before moving to West Carthage in 1990.
Kathleen was a communicant of St. James Church.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Earl E. Bartlett of West Carthage, four daughters: Barbara Shear of Kent State, OH, Debbie Rice of Binghamton and Carol Marcelletta and Patricia Denton, both of Rochester, one son: Stephen E. Bartlett of Hull, MA, 17 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren, one sister: Fannie Bilow of Ellenburg Depot and several nieces and nephew. Four sisters, Thelma Mills, Gerry Fortier, Eva Churchill and Myrtle Martin are predeceased.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 25th at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. George F. Maroun, Pastor officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home.
