Carthage - Keitha L. Tanner, 64, of 600 S. Washington St., Apt. #34, died Wednesday morning, April 22, 2015, at her residence where she was under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

Keitha was born in Carthage on August 14, 1950, the daughter of the late George G. and Dora C. Mono Ashcraft Sr. She was a 1968 graduate of Carthage Central School. She married William L. Tanner on January 29, 1971 at St. James Church in Carthage. Keitha worked as a clerk with Sam's Club in Watertown for many years, retiring due to her illness.

She was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by her husband, William L. Tanner of Carthage, two daughters: Heather Tanner and her husband David and Nicole Ward and her fiancé, Steven South all of Carthage, two sons: W. Cory and his wife Teri Marsaw-Tanner of Hammond and Brian Tanner of Watertown, 14 Grandchildren, five sisters: Carol Messore of Hannibal, Dora Malson of Mt. Clemons, MI, Linda Mulrooney of Syracuse, Betsy Shinnick of Lowville and Roni Sue Koudi of El Cajon, CA, six brothers: Bruce Ashcraft of Felts Mills, Stanley Ashcraft of Phoenix, AZ, George Ashcraft Jr. of Felts Mills, Dennis Ashcraft of Fulton, John Ashcraft of Great Bend and Arthur Ashcraft of Tampa, FL and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 6:00 PM at the Calvary Assembly of God Church, West Carthage with the Rev. David Frank, Pastor officiating. Calling hours at the church will precede the service on Friday from 3-6pm. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage.
