Lawrence S. Stenoski, 81, of the Staie Road, Carthage, died late Friday evening, April 12,2024 at Albany Medical Center in Albany.

Larry was born on October 24,1942 in Carthage, the son of the late William S. and Mae E. (Champion) Stenoski. He attended school in Carthage. He was united in marriage to the former Donna L. Parker until her passing on May 24, 1993. He then married Christine A. Doyle on October 24, 1994. Christine passed away on September 11, 2023. Larry worked for Conrail in Carthage as a machine operator from 1965 until his retirement in 1997. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, working on cars, spending time with his family and hanging out with friends.

He is survived by two daughters: Jeanne (Danny) Tyner of Natural Bridge and Susan (Michael) McGillvray of Midwest City, OK, three sons: Robert Stenoski (Elizabeth Lewis) of Watertown, Larry Doyle of Carthage and Joshua Doyle (Cierra Hoch) of Copenhagen, 20 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, one sister: Elizabeth Jackson of Carthage and three brothers: Steven and James Stenoski, both of Carthage, Matthew Stenoski of New Bremen and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son and daughter, Lawrence and Donna who died in infancy, his grandson, Nicholas Stenoski, two sisters, Jeannette Barnes and Wanda Ordway and two brothers, Louis and Johnny Stenoski.
