Linda A. Intorcia, 82, formerly of Alexandria St., Carthage, died early Monday morning, January 1,2024 at the Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Carthage.
Linda was born on March 9,1941 in Copenhagen, the daughter of the late Alexander J. and Margaret (Jones) St. Louis. She married James S. Intorcia on July 29,1967 at St. James Church in Carthage. James, a former employee of the St. Regis Paper Company in Deferiet, died on August 16,1996. She and her sister, Mary Ann Langevin, were interior decorators and wallpapered and painted many houses in the Carthage area together. Linda also was employed by Gray's Flower Shop in Carthage for many years. She had a great love of the outdoors and especially deer hunting.
She is survived by three sisters: Joan Davis of Lowville, Shirley Nevills of Carthage, and Karen Davidson of Redwood, one brother: Robert St. Louis of North Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by five brothers, Richard, Herb, Allan, Warner, and Kenneth St. Louis and two sisters, Grace Scanlon, and Mary Ann Langevin.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 5 at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home with Rev. Todd E. Thibault, Pastor of St. James Church, officiating.
