CARTHAGE - Patricia C. Brown, 72, formerly of Black River died early Sunday morning at Carthage Area Hospital.

Patricia was born on March 3, 1951 in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Henry and Doris (Kelly) Fetterman. She graduated from Forest Hills High School, near Johnstown, PA. Patty married Donald H. Brown on September 26, 1975, and made their home together in Black River. She worked at Northland Electric in Watertown and then as a teacher assistant for BOCES of Watertown where she retired.

Patty was the secretary of Carthage High Rise Association. She bowled on a league at Carthage Bowling Alley. She enjoyed doing ceramics, loved camping with Don and the grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Donald, her three daughters, Debbie (John) Williams, Cathy (Pat) Gaines, and Cheryl Davin. Patty, "Gigi" was dearly loved by her eight grandchildren, Tracey Hummel, Brian Williams, Steve Williams, Michelle Collins, Michael Gaines, David Gaines, Kylie Phillips, Craig Davin and her ten great grandchildren, she also has several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her three brothers, John H., Martin K., and Phillip Fetterman, her four sisters, Nora M. Waltman, Marsha (Marcus) Maranville, Goldie (Dennis) Moody, Karen Fetterman.

Per Patty's wishes there will be no calling hours. A spring burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Champion.
