West Carthage - Patricia A. Guyette, 74, of 26 Madison St., died Wednesday, November 26, 2014, in the Country Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where she has resided since June 25th.

Patricia was born in Watertown on July 3, 1940, the daughter of the late Clifford and Betty Lester Sly. She was a member of the last graduating class in Black River in 1957. She married Raymond H. Guyette on February 17, 1962 in Lowville. She worked for 21 1/2 years at Carthage High School, primarily as a Guidance Department secretary. She retired from Carthage Central in 2000.

She was a former Brownie and Girl Scout Leader and was active in the PTA and the Red Hat Society.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond H. of West Carthage, two daughters: Kathy J. Graham and Cindy L. Wheeler and her fiancé Michael Rogan, all of Syracuse, one son and his wife: Mark R. (Mary) Guyette of Watertown, 6 Grandchildren: Erin (Ryan) Lewis, Andrew, Matthew and Mollie Guyette and Zachary and Lauren Graham, 1 Great Granddaughter, Caitlin Lewis, two brothers: David Sly of Brantingham and Richard Sly and his companion, Josie Reyes of Denver, CO and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:30 PM at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce W. Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Carthage. Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Sunday from 1-4pm.
