Patricia M. Rounds, 77, formerly of 222 State St., died Thursday afternoon, December 8, 2016 at University Hospital in Syracuse.
Patricia was born on January 20, 1939 in the Town of DeKalb, the daughter of the late Daniel and Beatrice (Perrigo) Durant. She attended school in Harrisville and later graduated from Gouverneur High School. She married Albert D. Rounds on September 8, 1962 at the Carthage United Methodist Church. Albert died on March 8, 2016. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her three daughters: Kimberley Morrison of LaFargeville, Dana Tooly of Carthage and Shannon Chandler of Watertown, 7 Grandchildren, one sister: Darlene Carpenter of Houston, TX and three brothers: Daniel and Harry Durant, both of Carthage and Royal Durant of Hawthorne, FL, and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her granddaughter, Shauna Lynn Tooly who died in 2002 and twin brothers, Donald & Ronald Durant who died in infancy.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 16 at the Calvary Assembly of God Church with Rev. David Frank, Pastor officiating. A Calling hour will precede the service from 10:00am-11:00am at the church. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage.
