Patrick L. Cole, 61, of 10619 Jackson Lane, died Sunday morning, April 30, 2017 at his home following a brief illness.
Pat was born February 19, 1956 in Carthage, the son of the late Ronald J. and Jean (Conley) Cole. He was a 1975 graduate of Carthage Central High School where he also played football. Following his graduation, he worked for Carthage Papermakers and then joined the U.S. Air Force serving from 1983-1985. He returned to Carthage and was employed by Agway in Copenhagen, Lofink Motor Company and E.C. Crooks Memorial in Carthage.
Pat was a man of many talents for sure he could do about anything. He loved fishing, hunting, watching his Steelers & Red Sox, baking, gardening and doing thoughtful little things for others. Although his family thinks one of his favorite things to do was to sit by a campfire especially with family around and his dog.
He is survived by two brothers and their wives; Frederick V. and Cindy Cole of Carthage and James R. and Darci Cole of Fort Washington, WI, two sisters and their husbands: Cynthia and Dennis Getter of New York Mills and Ella May and Phil Tooly of Jacksonville, TX and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held in St. James Cemetery in Carthage on Saturday, May 13th at 10:00am with the Rev. Donald A. Robinson officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home.
