Paulette E. Illingsworth, 65, of 538 S. Mechanic St., died Thursday, September 22, 2016 in the Emergency Room of the Carthage Area Hospital after being stricken at her residence.
Paulette was born July 5, 1951 in Watertown, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Pauline (Files) Durant Sr. She attended schools in Watertown and Carthage. She married Paul E. Illingsworth on September 3, 1988 in Great Bend. She was employed at Fort Drum and Elmer's Diner in Carthage many years ago until becoming disabled.
She is survived by her husband: Paul E. Illingsworth Sr. of Carthage, one son: Derek Illingsworth of Carthage, two step sons, Paul Illingsworth Jr. of Florida and Dustan Illingsworth of Pennsylvania; two granddaughters, Maresa Silva and Kaylie Illingsworth, three sisters: Dorolyn Marsden of Sackets Harbor, Molly Barkley of Carthage and Lucinda Durant of Pennsylvania, one brother: Michal Durant of Carthage and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Robert Durant Jr. and Raymond Durant and two sisters, Karloe Rosanna and Harriett Pena died previously.
There will be a "Celebration of her Life" held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, September 25 at the Brady Acres Community Room, South Washington St. in Carthage. There will be no callings hours. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage.
