Obituary
Watertown - Randy D. Stevens, 54, of 206 Arlington St., died Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse from complications following a heart attack on Saturday evening at his residence.
Randy was born on December 1, 1960 in Watertown, the son of the late Herman H. and Stella G. Hill Stevens. He was a 1979 graduate of Carthage Central High School. Randy worked at Mercy Hospital before joining the Champion Int. Paper Mill in Deferiet where he worked for 20 years until the mill closure in 2002. He currently was working at Stratton Hardware in Watertown where he has been employed for several years. A previous marriage to Kimberly M. Dunaway ended in divorce.
Randy loved gardening and grilling outdoors.
He is survived by his two daughters: Rebekha E. E. Stevens and Morgan L. Stevens, both of Watertown, one son: Brandon L. Stevens of Watertown, one sister: Mrs. William (Lori) Pfaff of Watertown, one brother: Gary H. (Rosie) Stevens of Hague, NY and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at St. Rita's Church in Deferiet with the Rev. Robert L. Decker, Pastor officiating. Spring burial will be in St. James Cemetery, Carthage. Calling hours at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage will be on Thursday from 4-7pm.
