Richard F. LaLone, 78, of 27116 Meadow Lane, Watertown, formerly of Carthage, died Monday, December 3, 2018 at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.

Richard was born on June 2, 1940 in Carthage, son of the late Michael and Dorothy (Prievo) LaLone. He married the former Sharon L. Schermerhorn on April 16, 1983 in Carthage. He was employed for over 20 years for the E.C. Crooks Memorial Company in Carthage where he was a sandblaster.

He is survived by his wife: Sharon L. LaLone of Watertown, three sons; Donald LaLone of Watertown, Theodore LaLone of Archbald, PA and Jeffrey LaLone of Plattsburg, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A daughter, Sharon LaLone, a son, Richard LaLone Jr. and a step-son Richard Rhonde are predeceased.

Calling hours for family and friends will be on Friday, December 7 from 3-5pm at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home in Carthage. Burial will be at the family's convenience.
