Ronald E. Lightholder, 80, of Palm Bay, Florida, and formerly of Carthage, NY.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at 11:00am in the Black River Cemetery in Black River, NY with Reverend Wayne Arnold officiating.

Ronnie was born on April 14, 1943, in Watertown, the son of Edward and Arvilla (Minkler) Lightholder. He attended school at Augustinian Academy and Carthage High School. On Oct. 5, 1960, he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served from 1960 to 1966. Upon returning from the military, he joined the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 73.
