Great Bend

Sally Ann Hadley, 82, of 24009 Pennock Road, died Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the home of her daughter where she has resided for two years.

Sally was born on June 19, 1935 in Glenfield, the daughter of the late Hubert and Grace (Wordell) Sweitzer. She graduated from West Carthage High School in 1953. She married Gerald H. Hadley on October 16, 1954 at the Woolworth Memorial Methodist Church in Great Bend with Rev. Robert E. Wright officiating. Gerald, a former employee of the Crown Zellerbach Corp. died on December 7, 2002.  Sally was a homemaker and she bowled for several years.

She is survived by two daughters and their husbands: Linda and Kevin Thomas of Great Bend and Becky and Mark Grau of Carthage, 2 Granddaughters; Jerilyn Steria and Pamela Black, one sister: Nancy Fahsel of Florida, a brother: Dale Sweitzer of Central Square and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by two daughters Jerilynn Rae and Krista Joy Hadley.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 4 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Rutland with Rev. Tracy Cook officiating. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage.
