Sharon M. LeRoux

Sharon M. LeRoux, 73, of Ogdensburg and formerly of Star Lake, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center. 

Born on August 11, 1952, in Gouverneur, NY, to the late Donald Glenn and Anna Louise (Shaw) Woodward, Sharon attended Clifton-Fine High School. She worked as a nurse’s aide in her younger years. She truly loved spending time sitting, drinking coffee, and sharing warm chats with her friends. 

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Tonya (Gary) Lutz and Jamie (Philip) Janack; her cherished grandchildren, Logan Lutz, Destinii Finley, Tori Finley, and Tyler Finley; her precious great-grandchildren, Greyson, Ryder, Lainey, and two more on the way; her siblings, Larry (Al) Woodward, Daniel “Danny” (Dora) Woodward, and Sheila Paro; and many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Sharon was reunited in peace with her parents; her infant son, Bobby John; and her brothers, William Woodward, James Woodward, and Richard Donald “Woody” Woodward. 

A Celebration of Life service to honor her memory will be held on August 29, 2026 at 1:00pm at 464 Oswegatchie Trail Road, Oswegatchie, NY 13670.
