Stephanie Marie McIntyre, age 33, of Watertown, NY, peacefully passed away on Friday evening, May 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving parents.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, 320 W. Lynde Street, Watertown, NY. Visitation will take place prior to the Mass, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the church. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.

Stephanie was born on May 3, 1992, in Carthage, NY, to Scott M. and Jodie R. (Astafan) McIntyre. She spent the first 14 years of her life at home with her family and began her education at Bright Beginnings Early Learning Center through the ARC. She later graduated from Watertown High School in 2013. For the past 19 years, Stephanie lived at 453 Gaffney Drive in Watertown, where she was embraced and cared for by her second loving family.

She is survived by her parents, Scott and Jodie McIntyre of Watertown; her sister, Lila McIntyre; her paternal grandparents, Terrill R. McIntyre of Carthage and Christina J. McIntyre of Branford, CT; her beloved aunt, Tina M. McIntyre of Branford, CT; and numerous cousins. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Bernice Cora (Meister) and James P. Astafan.

Stephanie touched many lives with her contagious laughter, radiant smile, and loving eyes. Her presence brought joy to everyone around her. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at ARC, SMC, Jefferson County Hospice, and Dr. Victoria for their devoted care, guidance, and compassion over the past 25 years.
