It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Tammy Jo Schneeberger, age 59, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on March 30, 2026.

Originally from Lowville and most recently residing in Hopkins, South Carolina, Tammy was the daughter of Allan and Nina Schneeberger and a proud graduate of the Lowville Academy Class of 1984. She dedicated her professional life to nursing, eventually earning her Master of Health Care Administration and serving with distinction as the Director of Nursing at Palmettos of Park Lane assisted living facility.

Tammy is survived by her parents; her daughter, Tess Margaret; her siblings, David (Nancy), Gretchen (Mike), and Larry (Guzin); her cousin and best friend, Kelly Balash; many adored nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Bailey.

In accordance with Tammy’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society.
