Natural Bridge - Terina D. Mono, 64, of 6538 State Rt. # 3, died Sunday morning, January 5, 2014 at her residence where she was under the care of her family and Lewis County Hospice.

Terina was born in Carthage on February 1, 1949 the daughter of the late David and Eleanor Pritchard Cahill. She was raised on her parent's mink farm in Natural Bridge. She was a graduate of Harrisville Central School. She married Richard F. Mono on June 24, 1967 in Natural Bridge. She worked for Climax Manufacturing in both Castorland and Lowville. She retired several years ago. Richard, a laborer with Local #322 of Massena, died on November 29, 2013.

Terina was proud to tell stories about her helping her parents operate the former Dave's Place on Rt. # 3 for many years. She loved to travel and most especially to the casinos.


She is survived by her two daughters: Nicole Odett (Ira) of Carthage and Jamey Raote (Abhi) of Rahway, NJ, two sons: Richard C. Mono (Crystal) and Chad A. Mono (Jackie) both of Natural Bridge, 14 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A brother David Cahill is predeceased.


A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday at 4:00 PM at the Natural Bridge Fire Department. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Friends of Lewis County Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
