COPENHAGEN- We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Terry R. Brown, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the age of 73 in Syracuse, NY.

Terry was born on May 1, 1952, in Lowville, NY, to the late Frederick J. and Barb A. (Cota) Brown. He graduated in 1971 from Copenhagen Central School. He worked at the St. Regis Papermill and later retired as a custodian from the Copenhagen School District.

He is survived by his dear friends, Kevin A. (Teresa) Terrillion, Amanda Kloster, and Dale Clarke all of Copenhagen, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Terry was very sociable and a pillar of the Copenhagen community; he had a way of making everyone feel at home, spreading happiness wherever he went.

Terry was a member of the Copenhagen Fire Department, and the Lowville Elks Club.

Per his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service was held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 4:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Copenhagen, NY, where he will be laid to rest alongside his parents.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on October 18, 2025 at 2pm at the Lowville Marine Corp.
