Terry L. Rigabar, 55, of 902 A, Emjay Way, died suddenly Thursday, November 23, 2017 at his residence.

Terry was born December 3, 1961 in Newport, RI., the son of the late Warner L. and Anna M. (Buckingham) Rigabar. He was a 1980 graduate of Carthage Central High School. He attended St. Lawrence University in Canton on a football scholarship and graduated in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in Economics. He served in the Army from 1984 until 1988 receiving the rank of Lieutenant.

Terry's career started as the procurement manager for the James River Corp. in Carthage, then purchasing manager for Smart Papers in Hamilton, Ohio for 4 years. He returned to Carthage and was operations manager for Metro Paper, then was a contract management specialist for the Finger Lakes DDSO, purchasing manager for Newton Falls Paper Company, purchasing agent and contract specialist for the USAF Research Lab in Rome, NY and currently was a contract specialist for the Mission & Installation Contracting Command at Fort Drum where he has worked since 2011.

Terry was an avid golfer and member of the Cedar's Golf course.

He is survived by his mother Anna M. Rigabar of West Carthage; a sister: Cheryl A. Fritz of Cincinnati, OH and a brother: Timothy L. Rigabar of Columbus, OH, his nephews Tyler and Brandon; a niece, Megan and a great niece, Lilly Bug and several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 28 at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Donald A. Robinson, Pastor officiating.  Burial with military honors will be in St. James Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Monday, November 27 from 4-7pm at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home.
