Thomas A. Derouin, 60, of 5 Martin St. West Carthage died Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at home in West Carthage under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County.

Tom was born on May 9, 1958 in Watertown, the son of the late Robert and Jeanne (Cook) Derouin. He was a 1976 graduate of Carthage Central High School. For many years Tom worked for Allen Brady in property maintenance. He was currently employed by Carthage Machine Co. as a machinist until the time of his illness.  Tom was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing.

He is survived by his two sisters: Cathy Beggs of San Jose, CA and JoAnne Derouin of Carthage, his brother, Jack Derouin of Lowville, his companion, Tina McNaulty of Copenhagen and 5 nieces and nephews, He is predeceased by an infant sister, Christine and a brother, Robert Derouin Jr..

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 15 at Hillside Cemetery, Broad St., West Carthage with Anne Rohr officiating. Calling hours will be on Monday, October 15 from 11-12:45pm at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home, Carthage.
