Trudy L. Andrus, 72, passed away early Sunday morning, October 20th, 2019 surrounded by loved ones in Carthage, NY.

Trudy was born on September 4, 1947 in Alexandria Bay, one of eight children of Dorothy I Baker and Jeddie I Pitre of Munns Corners. She was united in marriage to Harvey Andrus on June 3, 1978. Harvey passed away on March 28, 2013.

She was predeceased by her parents and all of her siblings, Wayne, Nancy, Warren, David, Dennis, Darrell, and Jeddie Pitre.

She is survived by 4 daughters and 1 honorable son, Sherene Pealo (Donald Grolling) of Nedrow, NY, Sheila Pealo (Delantry Trafton) of Tully, NY Lori Andrus (Christopher Ward) of Carthage, NY, Tracey Andrus (James Daleo) of Macon, GA and Michael Buettner of Florida. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, Desiree & Alexander LaFave, Chelsie & Dylan Trafton, Madison & Zachary Grolling, Tyler, Michael, and Hailee Daleo.

Outside of immediate family, Trudy had many close relationships with various family members and members of her community. She was incredibly loved and will be missed by all.

She was a caregiver for multiple senior citizens prior to her decline in health. Trudy had a love for baking, snuggling babies, singing and dancing as well as a love for animals.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor in early spring at a date and time to be determined.
